Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern your use of Lil Pet ("Service"), an AI-powered pet image generation service, and set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service and its users.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to the Lil Pet website and all related services.
  • "User" refers to anyone who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  • "Points" refers to virtual currency units used to access paid features.
  • "Content" refers to all outputs including images generated through the Service.

3. Effect and Changes

These Terms take effect upon being posted on the Service. We may update these Terms and changes take effect 7 days after notice. If you disagree with changes, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.

4. Account Registration

You may register via Google OAuth or email. You must provide accurate, current information and may not share or transfer your account to third parties. Children under 14 may not use the Service without parental consent.

5. Points

Points are deducted when using paid features such as image generation.

  • Points can be obtained through paid purchase or service events.
  • Points cannot be converted to cash, except unused purchased points may be refunded per our Refund Policy.
  • The validity period and refund eligibility period of charged points are limited to within 1 year from the date of payment.
  • If the Service closes, we will separately notify users about compensation for remaining points.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain copyright in the content you generate through the Service. However, for publicly shared content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for promotional purposes. The Service's logos, design, and software are owned by the operator.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Creating content that infringes others' rights or is illegal
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Unauthorized use of another user's account
  • Unauthorized commercial redistribution of generated content
  • Using automated methods to access the Service (API abuse, etc.)

8. Suspension

We may restrict access or suspend accounts without notice for violations of prohibited conduct, legal violations, or actions seriously disrupting the Service. The Service may also be temporarily interrupted due to maintenance or force majeure.

9. Limitation of Liability

Due to the nature of AI technology, we do not guarantee the quality of generated outputs. Our liability for content loss or generation failures is limited to refunding used points, except in cases of our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with Seoul Central District Court as the court of jurisdiction.

11. Point Purchase & Payment

  • Points can be purchased via credit or debit card on the Points page.
  • Single charge limit is ₩100,000 (100,000 KRW) per transaction.
  • Points cannot be transferred between users.
  • Charged points expire 1 year from the date of payment. Expired points are forfeited.
  • Payments are processed via Toss Payments. Some payment methods (KakaoPay, NaverPay, etc.) may be restricted.
  • Bonus/event points are managed separately from paid points.

12. Payment Cancellation & Refund

  • If no points have been used, a full refund may be requested within 7 days of payment.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method (card) only. Cash refunds are not available.
  • Refund eligibility is limited to within 1 year from the date of payment.
  • Partial refunds are not available once any points have been used.
  • Bonus/free points are not eligible for refund.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] and are processed within 3 business days.
  • Points incorrectly deducted due to service errors will be reviewed and restored individually.
